During my tenure, I collaborated closely with the DevOps team to streamline the Dockerization process and ensure seamless deployment of our code onto AWS EC2 instances. By implementing efficient Docker containers, we enhanced the portability and scalability of our applications, optimizing resource utilization and facilitating rapid deployment across various environments. Through this collaboration, I gained invaluable experience in containerization technologies and cloud infrastructure management, contributing to the successful delivery of our projects while adhering to best practices in DevOps methodologies.
During my tenure with the startup, I collaborated with the frontend team to develop a user-friendly website offering Puja Samgris to customers. Utilizing React.js and Tailwind CSS, I crafted an intuitive user interface that prioritized performance and enhanced user experience. Additionally, I engaged in a churn prediction project, where I applied my expertise in machine learning algorithms and Python libraries such as pandas, numpy, and sklearn. This project demanded a deep understanding of the problem domain, coupled with proficiency in SQL for data manipulation. Through these experiences, I honed my skills in frontend development, data analysis, and predictive modeling, contributing to the success and growth of the startup.
During my internship with the data science team, I had the opportunity to work on a sales prediction project that involved leveraging Python and various machine learning libraries. My responsibilities included data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model development to forecast sales trends accurately. Additionally, I actively contributed to the implementation of machine learning algorithms, such as regression and ensemble methods, to optimize predictive performance. Through this experience, I gained practical knowledge in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and drive informed decision-making processes. This internship not only enhanced my technical skills but also provided valuable hands-on experience in real-world data science applications within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
As a Microsoft Student Ambassador, I represented Microsoft within my academic community, promoting its technologies and initiatives to fellow students and educators. Through workshops, events, and collaborative projects, I encouraged innovation and skill development, fostering a culture of learning and exploration. This role honed my leadership and communication skills while deepening my understanding of technology and its applications in education and beyond.
